Join Carolina alumni and friends in the annual Tar Heel Service Day on Saturday morning, October 12th, the day Tar Heels across the world will be participating in service projects to give back. Tampa Tar Heels will spend the morning volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa. Activities may range from cooking, prepping and service meals in the kitchen, sorting donations at the thrift store or working on campus clean up and beautification. This experience is limited to 15 people. Ages 8 and older are welcome to volunteer.
The activity will take place from 8:30-11:30am.

120 E. Ross Ave. Tampa 33602. This is Metropolitan Ministries’ Volunteer Engagement Center.
Dress Code:
- Long pants
- Closed-toe shoes
- T-shirt/Polo shirt
Volunteer work an be anything from cooking/prep/serving meals in the kitchen, sorting donations at the thrift store or working on the environmental team (campus cleanup/beautification)
Parking:
Large lot directly in front of our office. We also have an overflow lot located behind 2001 N. Florida Ave.
